The goal of our project is focused towards the development of a Leisure community solution for elder spare time. This service will help the increase of activity and reduce the degree of disoccupation of elder people with the objective of promoting the integration in the self-serve society. The project is aimed at helping people to be active, joyful and socially connected.
The project has two action lines:
· On one hand, an advice network created for seniors who can add value to companies by sharing their job experience and background. Through the network, users will give pieces of advice to workers interested in learning from more experienced people, and the elderly will keep mentally active after retirement.
· Secondly, the creation of a platform for the support of individual or group activities, including services related to location of fellow travelers and trip planning and guiding, date reminders. The monitoring of the user during the activity will be carried out through a series of personal sensors. The goal is to encourage people to move by themselves, monitor this and feeding the information into their daily and weekly programme of activity.
