We broadcast products and services for the entertainment and healthcare through the terminals of elders. To provide a Self-Service to the society, the VisAge framework includes a repository of services that can be automatically pushed to the end-user to preserve independence of persons even if they are not motivated to use ICT.
Web 3.0 : Personalized television by the social network, broadcasted to end-user and consequencies in real life.
Excellence domain:
- Communication platform for making, dependent elders, independent with ICT
- Diffusion and integration of services adapted for maintenance at home in an holostic approach.
Activities:
The basic domains of activity of VisAge are: maintenance at home of elders (implicating the medico-social staff and caregivers) by providing ICT based solutions to elders to make them independent and autonomous to participate in virtual and real social life and improving their skills.
- Know-how:
Creating intuitive interfaces for dependent elderly, distribution of various appropriate services for seniors and professionals based on design for all-principles. Our products are characterized by excellent user acceptability and their trust.
- Product:
A touch screen panel display, VisAge screen, for the living room of elders. They can also bring it with them at hospital. It works 24/24 without requiring the intervention of the user. VisAge screen is equipped with a camera and allows the interaction with all professionals and family caregivers. Intuitive for elders
- Selection of services:
- Market place adapted to people with impairments
-In one click, an event is organized: registering and adapted transportation (ie joining a picnic...).
- System task assistance for daily life such as housework or cooking (nutrition).
- Participatory democracy: individual choices are gathered

Research activity
VisAge is the result of 7 years of experiments and development performed by researchers coming from the major French research organizations: CEA, CNRS, Ecole Polytechnique, Supélec. VisAge is located in Limousin (France) at the Building Automation and Health Pole of Guéret.
EU programs involved: FEDER & LEADER+ as subcontractor. National ANR partner program: verso: SweetHome. Large experience of members in FP7 european projects (GIACS, CO3 projects). National 2009 prize in the top10 most innovative young SME.
