The Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Law, Faculty of Medicine, Catholic University of Leuven, is an interdisciplinary research group devoted to the study of ethical and legal issues in health care. Professor Chris Gastmans is co-ordinating the research concerning the ethical issues in elderly care, with special focus on telemedicine and the use of robotics in elderly care.
