**we are an innovative and flexible SME experienced in AAL projects and proposal writing. Looking for high-quality consortium for AAL-6.**
Connectedcare aims for a paradigm shift in independent living - towards self-management and on-demand professional services. Connectedcare has developed an online platform for group awareness, coordination and communication. The platform emphasizes user-centered design, the platform is designed to be loved. The core competencies of ConnectedCare are ICT (social networks and sensor systems), industrial design (user-centered design, design methodologies) and care (family care, professional care, independent living).
Whereas the platform was originally designed to enable on-demand care, the platform can well be used in AAL-6 to facilitate on-demand professional services. Seniors can offer their expertise and time through the platform, and provide their service on an on-demand basis. For example, a senior text-writer could offer her expertise through the platform, and contribute to the development of a new website. We consider collaboration as a social activity, and we want to motivate all parties to collaborate to the max!
Connectedcare was founded by two university researchers (Delft University of Technology) in 2010 in order to accelerate the transition from academic research in ambient assisted living to commercial application. They formed a team of experts in design, technology and care, who collaboratively further develop promising research ideas into marketable product- and service concepts. A consortium with preferred partners has been established in order to facilitate the development process. The expertise areas include user-centered design, from the early phases of the design process to the final product evaluation, concept development and interaction design, service innovation and validation, and business development. Research themes include mediated communication, privacy and sensor networks.
ConnectedCare participates in two EU-AAL projects and several Dutch care innovation projects. The researchers are very experienced in AAL proposal writing, and have a network of partners that can be involved in new proposals.
