Information & Image Management Systems, S.A. (I&IMS), founded in 1991 and Barcelona-(Spain) based company, aims at developing integrated image, information and telecommunications solutions. Since its creation, I&IMS has applied the latest computer and telecommunications technologies (ICT) to surveillance, health, telemedicine, tele-education, electronic documentation and video-communication projects.
I&IMS develops own software applications and provides technological solutions adapted the client's concrete needs; it designs and develops made-to-measure projects. In short, it provides services to reduce organise and make easier the access to information.
I&IMS' main activity areas are the following:
Software development for Video supervision and Video-observation.
- Software development for Medical Information and Image Management, Health.
- Software development for Document Management.
- Telecommunications Solutions.
- Video-communication and Video-supervision Solutions.
- Project design, development and implementation.
Since 1999, I&IMS promotes and takes part to International, European and national R&D&I projects, applying the latest ICT.
Currently, I&IMS belongs and actively works with the Technological Platforms:
ARTEMIS: Advanced Research and Technology for Embedded Intelligence and Systems.
- PROMETEO: Spanish Technological Platform of Embedded-Intelligence Systems.
- NEM: Networked and Electronic Media European Technology Platform.
In 2007, I&IMS has obtained from ECA CERT the UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2000 quality certification for development and design of computer applications for video surveillance, health and video communication and the UNE-EN ISO 13485:2004 quality certification especially for the applications in the health sector. These allow us to guarantee the systematisation and rigor in processes, the quality of our products and the satisfaction of our client’s needs and expectations.
As regards the very objectives of AAL programme, we led a successful FP5 project, ARTEMIS: Advanced Rehabilitation Technologies for Ederly ad Mobility Impaired persons applied through Innovative Internet Systems.
