Activity profile: Looking for AAL project

Viveris Technologies is a French company specialized in software & hardware development. We develop communicating products (“set top box”-like) from hardware design & development to network layers and high level application.

We have a recognized skill in the Network and Telecommunication area and more accurately in the wireless and satellite telecommunication area through collaboration with big groups like CNES (TCP/IP optimization over radio/gsm/satellite links, etc.), EADS Astrium (product development for crisis management), France Telecom (satellite IP infrastructures development) or Thales Alenia Space (R&D and development around IP, IMS, Media Independent Handover, etc.).

Within the network & telecommunication area, Viveris Technologies works at every level of the telecommunication chain. For the end user, we have developed a large range of services based on telecommunication links integration and optimization (Satellite, GSM, GPRS, UMTS, WiFi, etc.), resulting in the Siclop range of products (network interconnection and optimized email). For telecom operators, Viveris Technologies develops, deploys and maintains ground infrastructures and value added services (customer's traffic management, Quality of Service (QoS) for users, Firewalling, etc.). Finally, Viveris Technologies also work on the telecommunication link itself through partnerships with satellite manufacturers. Viveris Technologies has taken part to the SATSIX european project (6^th Framework Program), leaded by Thales Alenia Space France, which was studying IPv6 integration into satellite infrastructures. In this project Viveris Technologies was leader of the whole testbed implementation.
