HI-IBERIA is a SME consultancy founded in 1999 and integrated into HI-IBERIA group (from 1982). Nowadays the group accounts more than 200 professionals, from which 130 belong to HI-IBERIA, distributed along its three working centres in Madrid, Valladolid and Vigo.

HI-IBERIA brings specialized solutions in the form of specialized consultancy, SW development and SW quality to the areas of Telecommunications, SW Providers , TV and mobile platforms, Insurances , E-health, Defence, Naval, Space Aeronautics, Institutional and Banking.

Due to its multidisciplinary approximation to ITC world, HI-IBERIA hoards wide experience in the fields of Project Management, SW Development, Trials, Performance, Streaming and Simulation, Automation, Risk Management, Bid Support, Quality, Security, Cost Management. It has also acquired large experience in Instrumentation and Control Systems, where it has developed SeaDP (by Seaplace, SME also belonging to the group) for controlling and keeping the position of vessels. Other remarkable finished projects inside HI-IBERIA are the development of the Mobile Streaming Platform for Orange in Spain.

It its SW factory HI-IBERIA develops applications for distributed environments (mobile applications, Sensor networks SW, TV applications, triple screen platforms); we are also specialized in simulation and trials with insurance platforms: and it also develops real time applications: embedded SW for telecommunications systems (BTS), and Communication systems for ULS TTC Galileo. It has also a partnership with Alcatel-Lucent for the development of TV headends, Multicast Serves, DRM systems and Decoders.

HIB is compliant to ISO 9001:2000 and recently has achieved also ISO 9001:2008.

HI-IBERIA has broad experience in platforms integrating TV and mobile platforms with sensor networks. We are also interested in applied our knowledge in software development and security to the e-health and e-inclusion environment.

HI-Research is the R&D department of HI-Iberia, focused on the following main lines:
